w lots of corn.We stopped for the night in Missouri Valley, IA. It has a population of 3,000 and looks it. The temperature is rapidly changing as I get further northwest. It was in the 50s today, about 20 degrees colder than Columbia.

You will find that they feed all that corn to pigs. The pigs process that corn into something that does not smell very nice, but there's lots of it.
